Membership
National (Public Relations Society of America)

Member:
An individual of any age who devotes a substantial portion of
time to the paid professional practice of public relations or to
the teaching or administration of public relations curriculum in
an accredited college or university. $65 initiation fee, $225 annual fee

Associate,
Category A (PRSSA Graduate):
Must be a PRSSA member at the time of graduation, and the
application must be submitted within two years of graduation. $60 annual fee

Associate,
Category B:
Devoting full time to earning a master degree or a doctorate for
the purpose of teaching public relations. $60 annual fee

Associate,
Category C: Full-time employed professional with less than
one year experience. $115 annual fee

Associate,
Category D: Full-time employed professional with less than
two years experience. $155 annual fee
Chapter
Membership
Only members of PRSA
National are eligible to join at the chapter level. $50 annual dues.

Professional Interest Sections
Members of PRSA
National may join any of the 16 special interest sections:
Association, Consultant, Higher Education, Employee
Communications, Educators, Environment, Technology, Financial
Public Relations, Healthcare, Food and Beverage, International,
Professional Services, Diversity, Public Affairs and Government,
Tourism, Corporate. Each section determines its annual dues.
